Overview

Rady Children's Health-Orange County is seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join their team, providing critical care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients from birth to young adulthood. The position offers opportunities in research, advocacy, and fellowship education within a premier healthcare system.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide quality care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients
  • Participate in shared rotating night and weekend call
  • Engage in research and advocacy activities
  • Contribute to palliative care and quality improvement initiatives
  • Educate fellows and engage in administrative activities

Required skills

  • Fellowship training in pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiology
  • Board certification/board eligibility in pediatric critical care or pediatric cardiology
  • Significant cardiac ICU experience or fourth year of dedicated cardiac ICU training
  • Eligibility for a California medical license
