Job Description

Overview

The Internal Agency XRay Technologist will respond to critical coverage needs in the Diagnostic Radiology departments, performing a variety of Xray procedures while prioritizing quality imaging and patient care. This role requires versatility in OR/c-arm procedures and offers support for radiology students through training and guidance.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Diagnostic Xray procedures according to established medical care standards
  • Respond to department critical coverage needs throughout the system
  • Demonstrate and provide guidance to radiology students
  • Maintain high quality imaging and prioritize patient welfare

Required skills

  • Experience as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (preferably 2 years)
  • Knowledge of diagnostic radiology technical information
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using computers and computer systems
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
