Overview

The Intern - Finance FP&A position at First Horizon Bank offers a 10-week immersive experience for undergraduate students, focusing on practical knowledge and skills in the banking industry. Interns will collaborate with various departments, engage in financial planning, and gain insights into banking operations while networking with professionals and peers.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and other departments to align financial plans with operations
  • Assist with monthly forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Support stakeholders by tracking business drivers and financial impacts
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management
  • Present financial information to Senior Leadership
  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards
  • Prepare financial reports and visual presentations
  • Participate in mini rotations with other finance groups
