Job Description

Overview

KCI, Incorporated, a member of the Tsubaki Group, is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist in the development and implementation of detailed drawings and designs under the guidance of experienced Engineering staff. This internship provides the opportunity to work on a range of tasks including creating 3D models, reviewing design documents, and collaborating with various teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Modify product designs according to guidelines
  • Develop detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment
  • Create 3D models from 2D drawings
  • Generate and scan prints
  • Coordinate with Field & Shop personnel for design issues
  • Process Advanced Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Complete other projects or tasks as assigned

Required skills

  • Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical devices, machines, and tools
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD & Inventor preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe Acrobat
