You open the lab, power up a reefer control panel, and review the day's plan. By mid-morning, you're walking students through a live diagnostic on an intermodal refrigerated container, tracing the refrigerant cycle from the compressor to the condenser and evaporator, and tying what they see on the gauges to real performance. In the afternoon, you help a small team troubleshoot a basic electrical fault, then move outside to review chassis and trailer repairs, ABS braking checks, and safe work practices. Later this week, you'll travel regionally to another training site to run a hands-on session on diesel-powered generator units. Every day, you're turning your hard-earned experience into capability that keeps people safe and equipment moving. What you'll lead Hands-on instruction in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for refrigerated containers, transport refrigeration systems, and chassis/trailer workReal-world diagnostics, safety fundamentals, and industry best practices-delivered in the lab and at partner locationsTraining across core systems, including: Refrigerant cycle (compressors, condensers, evaporators)Refrigeration controls and basic electrical diagnosticsDiesel-powered generator unitsABS braking systemsCoaching learners through live tasks, skill repetitions, and confidence-building repsProgress tracking with clear, practical feedbackKeeping labs and equipment safe, organized, and ready for the next crewThis is practical, hands-on leadership-not ivory-tower theory.
