Overview

JTK Integrated Controls Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Control Panel Technician to join their team in Stoney Creek, Ontario. The role involves assembling and wiring electrical control panels, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality standards are met in a hands-on technical environment within the industrial automation sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels following schematics and engineering drawings
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
  • Test and troubleshoot panels to ensure proper functionality
  • Perform quality inspections to meet company and client standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment following safety procedures

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience assembling or wiring electrical control panels
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify wiring or component issues
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environments is an asset
