Job Description: Impekkable, an award-winning healthcare consulting and hospital management firm is looking for an Interim Materials Management Director for a hospital in northwest Wisconsin.Interim opportunity Start: ASAP - Ongoing until a permanent can be found Onsite in Spooner, WIJoin this amazing team as the Materials Management Director and play a key role in ensuring our hospital has the supplies, equipment, and resources needed to deliver exceptional patient care. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead all aspects of supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory management, vendor relations, contracting, value analysis, and distribution. In this leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Materials Management department, develop and mentor your team, manage departmental budgets and vendor contracts, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency while controlling costs. You'll collaborate closely with clinical leaders, finance, and vendors to ensure timely product availability, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement. QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in healthcare materials management, purchasing, or supply chain required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of healthcare purchasing, inventory management, contracting, and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). Strong analytical, financial, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with materials management systems and Microsoft Office.The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a passion for operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement. Success in this role means maintaining reliable supply availability, achieving budget goals, strengthening vendor partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing an engaged, high-performing team.
