Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interim Director, Operating Room in Dallas, Texas to lead surgical services operations across eight operating rooms. This role involves overseeing over 50 full-time employees, improving team relations, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead surgical services operations in eight ORs
  • Oversee approximately 50+ FTEs
  • Improve team relations and foster a culture of safety
  • Support staff through visible leadership and rounding
  • Manage pre-op, PACU, and operating room operations across multiple specialties

Required skills

  • Strong operating room leadership experience
  • Ability to build trust with staff and physicians
  • Expertise in managing complex surgical services environments
  • BSN required
  • Active TX and/or compact RN license required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Crisis management abilities
