Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interim Director of Case Management to lead case management functions at a high-acuity academic medical center in Memphis, Tennessee. This position involves overseeing a team of 32 FTEs and collaborating with executive leadership to implement optimized case management processes and improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for case management functions
  • Support system-wide standardization of case management processes
  • Mentor staff and improve engagement
  • Advance throughput and discharge planning initiatives
  • Collaborate with executive leadership
  • Implement optimized case management models across the organization

Required skills

  • Extensive acute care case management leadership experience
  • Experience in large, complex health systems
  • Experience with Epic and Careport
  • Highly organized and patient-focused
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BSN degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Active Tennessee RN license
  • CCM or ACM certification required
  • Progressive case management leadership experience in acute care settings
