Overview

Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar P.C. is looking for an experienced Intellectual Property Docketing Specialist to join their team in Lehi, Utah. The candidate should have a strong understanding of docketing patent and trademark matters and a commitment to detail and accuracy in their work.

Key responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and monitor communications from U.S., PCT and International Patent Offices
  • Accurately enter prosecution deadlines into docketing system
  • Detect and correct data and record management inconsistencies
  • Generate dockets and assist attorneys and other staff in preparation of reports
  • Assist in client intake procedures and docketing incoming transfers

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of IP docketing experience
  • Substantive knowledge of US and foreign patent and trademark prosecution
  • Advanced proficiency with patent and trademark office databases
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Effective time management skills
