Overview

The Intel Process Integration Engineer role at Intel's Phoenix, Arizona location focuses on developing process flows for new technology nodes while optimizing device performance and yield. This position involves collaboration across various engineering teams and supports the transition from research and development to high-volume manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop integrated front end process flows for new technology nodes
  • Coordinate with lithography, etch, deposition, diffusion, wet clean, CMP, and metrology teams
  • Analyze yield loss and perform root cause analysis using statistical tools
  • Drive corrective actions to improve yield and cycle time
  • Ensure electrical parameters meet design targets and optimize critical dimensions
  • Implement control plans and process monitoring strategies
  • Support ramp from R&D to high-volume manufacturing and document process specifications

Required skills

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engi
  • Experience in semiconductor device fabrication or electrical characterization of devices
  • Familiarity with statistical process control and data analysis
  • Hands-on experience in VLSI device fabrication and testing
  • Proficiency in JMP, MATLAB, Python, SQL, C/C++, or similar languages
  • Strong understanding of device physics and process control methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
