Job Description

Overview

Intel is seeking a Process Integration Engineer to join their Foundry MDCE and Logic Technology development organizations. This role involves delivering innovative process technology to support Intel's product roadmap, with a focus on collaboration and excellence in a high-tech environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and define integrated front end process flows for new technology nodes
  • Coordinate across lithography, etch, deposition, diffusion, wet clean, CMP, and metrology teams
  • Analyze yield loss and parametric failures through root cause analysis using statistical tools
  • Ensure electrical parameters meet design targets and optimize process conditions
  • Implement control plans and process monitoring strategies using statistical tools
  • Support the ramp from R&D to high-volume manufacturing by documenting process specifications

Required skills

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engi
  • 6+ months experience in semiconductor device fabrication, electrical characterization, or clean room process development
  • Proficiency in JMP, MATLAB, and scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, C/C++)
  • Understanding of device physics and VLSI device fabrication
  • Knowledge of VLSI fabrication instruments and statistical process control
  • Strong data analysis, presentation skills, and stakeholder management
