Job Description

Overview

Intel is seeking a Process Integration Engineer for its Cornelius, Oregon location. This role will involve developing process flows, analyzing yield losses, and collaborating across various engineering teams to optimize device performance and ensure seamless technology transfer to high-volume manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and define integrated front end process flows for new technology nodes
  • Analyze yield loss and parametric failures, performing root cause analysis
  • Ensure electrical parameters meet design targets and work closely with device engineers
  • Implement control plans and process monitoring strategies using statistical tools
  • Support ramp from R&D to high-volume manufacturing and document process specifications
  • Collaborate with Device Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Yield Engineering, Reliability Teams, and Design Teams

Required skills

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engi
  • 6+ months experience in semiconductor device fabrication or related areas
  • Familiarity with JMP, MATLAB, and scripting or programming languages (Python, SQL, C/C++)
  • Strong understanding of device physics and hands-on experience in VLSI device fabrication
  • Knowledge of VLSI fabrication instruments and statistical process control
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills
