Job Description

Overview

Join Intel as a Process Integration Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in developing integrated front end process flows for new technology nodes. This role involves close collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines to optimize device performance and ensure quality in semiconductor manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and define integrated front end process flows for new technology nodes
  • Coordinate across lithography, etch, deposition, diffusion, wet clean, CMP, and metrology teams
  • Establish process windows and integration schemes
  • Analyze yield loss and parametric failures
  • Perform root cause analysis using statistical tools
  • Drive corrective actions to improve yield and cycle time
  • Ensure electrical parameters meet design targets
  • Work closely with device engineers to tune process conditions
  • Optimize critical dimensions, overlay, and film thickness
  • Implement control plans and process monitoring strategies
  • Support ramp from R&D to high-volume manufacturing
  • Document process specifications and standard operating procedures

Required skills

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engi
  • 6+ months experience in semiconductor device fabrication, electrical characterization of devices, or clean room process
  • Proficiency in JMP, MATLAB, and scripting/programming languages (Python, SQL, C/C++)
  • Strong understanding of device physics (CMOS, FinFET, GAA)
  • Hands-on experience in VLSI device fabrication and testing
  • Knowledge of VLSI fabrication instruments
  • Understanding of statistical process control and data analysis
  • Integrated process knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of automation and defect classification systems
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
