Job Description

Overview

The Intel Process Integration Engineer role focuses on process technology innovation within the Intel Foundry and Logic Technology Development. The successful candidate will contribute to developing integrated front-end process flows and optimizing yield and device performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop integrated front-end process flows for new technology nodes.
  • Coordinate across lithography, etch, deposition, diffusion, wet clean, CMP, and metrology teams.
  • Analyze yield loss and perform root cause analysis using statistical tools.
  • Drive corrective actions to improve yield and cycle time.
  • Ensure electrical parameters meet design targets and optimize critical dimensions.
  • Implement control plans and process monitoring strategies.
  • Support technology transfer from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Document process specifications and standard operating procedures.

Required skills

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engi
  • 6+ months experience in semiconductor device fabrication or electrical characterization.
  • Experience with statistical tools like SPC, DOE, FMEA.
  • Proficiency in JMP, MATLAB, Python, JSL, TCL, SQL, C/C++.
  • Knowledge of VLSI device fabrication instruments and automation systems.
  • Strong data analysis, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
