Overview

Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking an Insurance Sales Associate for their Edina, MN office. This role involves working alongside a Sales Agent to drive new business sales and enhance customer retention through building local relationships and utilizing consultative sales techniques.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales.
  • Assist in processing new business transactions and finalize sales with customers.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for the Sales Agent.
  • Contribute to and execute a marketing plan with the Sales Agent.
  • Meet monthly goals for new business sales.
  • Conduct follow-ups on new policies to maintain high retention levels.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality customer service.
  • Act as the initial contact for customer concerns regarding policy establishment.

Required skills

  • High School Degree
  • 1-2 years of relevant sales experience preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle objections and educate customers consultatively
