Overview

The Insurance Sales Agent position at the Automobile Club of Missouri is an entry-level role designed to progress into a full Sales Agent upon successful training completion. The primary responsibilities include selling insurance products and club memberships, providing client information, and managing documentation accurately to support club growth and service quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell insurance products and club memberships
  • Quote rates, qualify applicants, and inspect vehicles or property
  • Complete documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner
  • Manage time and organize information to achieve sales goals
  • Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers
  • Enhance closing skills and maintain product balance
  • Provide insurance policy service to club members
  • Collect membership and insurance payments
  • Attend meetings, training workshops, and seminars

Required skills

  • 1-3 years of insurance sales/service experience preferred
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Organizational skills
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Valid Driver's License
