We are seeking an associate for our litigation practice group to handle general liability cases including, commercial, and umbrella policies, involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, HOA, in a fast-paced and highly demanding atmosphere.Job duties include:Handling cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trialPropounding and responding to discovery,Medical record review/summaries,Conducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts,Attend court hearings,Prepare motions/oppositions, Prepare case status reports to carriersTrial preparationCo-Counsel at TrialQualifications:Prior insurance defense experience is preferred but not required.Must be driven, self-starter, and able to independently manage a caseload.An ideal candidate would have experience with strong litigation skills, including discovery, conducting depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation background.New admittees are also encouraged to apply and can be a great fit for the right candidateMust be able to work well under strict deadlinesAbility to multitask effectivelyReliable and able to work a caseload independently under the supervision of a firm partnerWe are willing to train the right individual.Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills are a must.Individuals wanting to take their career to the next level with a reputable trial firm are welcomed to applySalary based on experience level
