Overview

Jobot is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to manage a full civil defense docket from pre-suit through trial and appeal. This role offers the opportunity to shape practice areas according to preferences while working in a hybrid remote environment at an established regional firm with over 50 attorneys.

Key responsibilities

  • Own a full civil defense docket from pre-suit through jury trial and appeal
  • Manage discovery, depositions, motion practice, and dispositive motions
  • Conduct written case evaluations and maintain direct relationships with domestic carriers and London market clients
  • Shape practice area mix based on background and preferences

Required skills

  • California Bar admission
  • Insurance defense background
  • Experience in general liability, premises liability, products liability, auto/motor vehicle/transportation, and construc
  • Familiarity with trucking, professional liability, public entity defense, environmental, cyber liability, aviation, and
