Overview

FF&C Management is seeking an Insurance Claims Examiner with experience in environmental and toxic tort insurance claims. The role involves evaluating and resolving complex claims according to industry best practices while working remotely from home.

Key responsibilities

  • Review loss notices and interpret policy coverage
  • Establish reserves and handle claims involving primary, excess, and umbrella coverage
  • Evaluate claims for eligibility status and review established coverages in policies
  • Negotiate payments and ensure timely disbursement of funds to clients

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience handling complex or specialty claims
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Expertise in environmental law and toxic torts
  • Claims evaluation and negotiation skills
  • General liability and customer service experience
