Overview

As an Insurance Agent/Producer at Hoosier Hills Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in assisting members with their insurance needs while working in a sales-focused environment. This position involves frequent travel within the service area to build strong relationships with clients and promote insurance products tailored to their specific needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage member inquiries in person and via phone.
  • Provide personalized advice on insurance products.
  • Offer accurate pricing, quotes, and detailed information on various insurance options.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell other Credit Union products.
  • Engage in frequent sales calls to meet potential clients.
  • Complete compliance training and adhere to all regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of experience in insurance
  • Must hold or be able to obtain proper licensing with the Indiana Department of Insurance
  • Strong interpersonal skills
