As an Installation Technician at Safelite, you will receive training to become a proficient auto glass technician, learning to repair and replace auto glass while recalibrating automotive safety systems. The position emphasizes customer service and quality workmanship, with opportunities for career advancement and skill development through hands-on and classroom training.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in installing and repairing auto glass
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing
  • Provide additional services and products to customers
  • Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
  • Complete training to become a Safelite-certified Technician
  • Comply with company policies and standards

Required skills

  • Experience in auto glass installation and repair
  • Understanding of safety systems and troubleshooting
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Basic proficiency in English for communication and documentation
