Overview

As an Installation Technician at Safelite, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional auto glass repair and replacement services. Utilizing industry-leading tools and technology, you will work both in the shop and on the go, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are met in every job.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle glass repair and replacement services efficiently at Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems and conduct diagnostic testing
  • Operate Safelite tools and technologies including True Seal and the Glass Table System
  • Communicate with customers in-person, via text, and on the phone
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles after services
  • Promote and sell Safelite promotional items and services
  • Comply with all company policies and standards

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Safelite SafeTech certification
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle in compliance with laws
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Proficient in using computerized diagnostic tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
