Job Description

Overview

The Field Installation Coordinator at Duncan Parnell Inc. is responsible for overseeing the Signs and Graphics installation team, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while coordinating scheduling and communication across teams. This role requires supervising installation crews, providing training to new installers, and addressing any issues that arise during installations.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise the installation team, ensuring quality and adherence to SOPs
  • Support installation operations across multiple locations, including travel
  • Provide input on hiring, termination, and pay adjustments
  • Train and onboard new installers, monitoring performance and providing coaching
  • Coordinate installation schedules and manage turnaround times
  • Participate in production meetings for project updates
  • Maintain the Installation Schedule Board and update as necessary
  • Generate installation tickets and complete related documentation
  • Contact clients to confirm installation dates and requirements
  • Review print materials for accuracy before installations
  • Monitor hardware inventory levels and reorder as necessary
  • Perform site surveys and coordinate with outsourced installers when needed

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Mechanical inclination with light carpentry skills
  • Ability to take measurements and use hand & power tools
  • Experience in light construction, carpentry, or signs and graphics
