Overview

Gagné Métal inc. is seeking an Installer-Assembler to join their installation team on construction sites in Montreal. The selected candidate will participate in the assembly and installation of metal structures such as stairs, balconies, and related components from prefabricated parts, collaborating with installers and team leaders.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble and install metal structures on-site according to provided plans
  • Perform assembly, adjustment, and alignment of components
  • Assist installers and welders during on-site work
  • Safely handle and position components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Follow directives from the team leader and adhere to timelines

Required skills

  • Experience in installation, assembly, or manual work on construction sites
  • Ability to read simple blueprints and take precise measurements
  • Strong physical condition and ability to work outdoors
  • Knowledge of French (mandatory)
  • Team spirit and positive attitude
  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility
  • Attention to detail and quality of work
  • Adaptability to different job sites
