Overview

The Inside Sales Specialist at QualiTech serves as a vital link between customers, the sales team, and operations. This role focuses on ensuring seamless and valued customer interactions, whether through virtual sales, quotes, or technical inquiries, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of business selling products remotely
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries, providing product information, pricing, and order updates
  • Support the outside sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, and sample requests
  • Manage and track orders from entry to delivery, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely shipments
  • Maintain and update CRM & ERP records for accurate customer data and sales activity tracking
  • Proactively follow up on leads, sample requests, and expiring contracts
  • Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to address customer formulation questions
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity for strategic planning

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer service
  • Strong communication skills for translating technical product details
  • Proficiency with CRM & ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative spirit and proactive problem-solving approach
  • Familiarity with food ingredient regulations or supply chain processes (bonus)
