Overview

As an Inside Sales Representative at GEICO, you will provide insurance quotes, advise customers on coverage options, and convert quotes into new policies—all without making cold calls. This role emphasizes customer interaction and support while contributing to the company’s mission of providing quality coverage to millions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and engage potential customers for personalized sales experiences
  • Identify potential customer needs and recommend suitable coverage solutions
  • Stay informed about GEICO's products and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Provide potential customers with peace of mind by helping them choose the right coverage

Required skills

  • Minimum of 1 month customer-facing sales experience; 3+ years preferred
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs preferred
  • Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport quickly
  • Adaptability, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Base salary of $41,000-$47,000 annually
