Overview

As an Inside Sales Representative at GEICO, you will provide insurance quotes, advise customers on coverage options, and convert those quotes into new policies. Your role will significantly impact customer relationships as you help them understand the value of GEICO's offerings while contributing to the company's mission of offering innovative insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and engage potential customers to provide a personalized sales experience.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Stay informed about GEICO's products and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Help customers choose the right coverage for their peace of mind.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 1 month of customer-facing experience required; 3+ years preferred.
  • Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing and multitasking.
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Base Salary: $46,345 - $50,999 annually.
