Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead our Lewisville, TX Service Center. This role is ideal for a proven leader with a strong background in the electronic distribution industry who is passionate about developing talent, driving sales growth, improving operational performance, and delivering exceptional customer service.As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing Service Center personnel, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining profitable growth, and fostering strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.What You'll DoLeadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, train, coach, and develop Service Center personnel.Ensure appropriate staffing levels and employee development plans are in place.Make or approve employment decisions including hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, compensation recommendations, transfers, and terminations.Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.Lead team-building initiatives and maintain high employee engagement and morale.Promote and enforce company policies, procedures, and best practices.Sales & Service Center ManagementDrive sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.Monitor sales performance and key service metrics, taking corrective action when necessary.Train employees in efficient order management processes and the impact of transactions on profitability.Review and approve sales-related documentation and transactions.Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to maintain the proper balance between customer service and sales objectives.Operational ExcellenceDevelop and manage annual budgets while maintaining established cost controls.Coordinate Service Center activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.Ensure customer orders are processed accurately, profitably, and on time.Monitor quality and service-level performance, initiating improvements when needed.Manage Service Center assets, including inventory and receivables.Customer & Vendor Relationship ManagementResolve complex customer issues and escalate concerns when appropriate.Build strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and sales representatives.Ensure employees understand vendor programs, policies, and market strategies.Encourage effective communication across departments and leadership teams. Financial & Credit OversightMake routine credit decisions in partnership with the Credit Department.Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and opportunities.Maintain accountability for Service Center profitability and performance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, management, accounting, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.10-15 years of professional experience within the electronic and electrical distribution industry.At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience managing teams and business operations.Proven success managing customer relationships, sales operations, and employee development.Experience with electronic components distribution.Knowledge of ERP systems and distribution operations.Familiarity with CRM and business reporting tools.Strong Understanding Of:Distribution industry operations and best practices.Organizational leadership, budgeting, and business management.Financial analysis, reporting, and personnel management.Customer service excellence and sales process optimization.Demonstrated Ability To:Lead, coach, and motivate high-performing teams.Analyze business metrics and make sound operational decisions.Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Communicate effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and executives.Resolve conflict professionally and build strong working relationships.Utilize Microsoft Office and other business systems to drive productivity.Why Join Us?
