Overview

Yamato Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to support the National Sales Manager in driving sales of commercial scales across North America and Canada. This role involves administrative tasks, lead management, and fostering relationships with dealers and customers to enhance sales growth and market share objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the National Sales Manager
  • Manage inbound and outbound leads, ensuring timely follow-up and qualification
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in Salesforce
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and KPI tracking for decision-making
  • Support dealer inquiries and provide product information
  • Collaborate with marketing and other teams on campaigns and lead generation efforts
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and customer engagement
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or inside sales support
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
