Job Description

Overview

The Inside Sales Agronomist at Native Seed plays a crucial role in supporting sales through technical expertise in agronomy and customer service. This in-house position based in Osborne, Kansas, involves collaboration with the sales team to promote seed products and enhance customer decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide agronomy support to the sales team, dealers, and retail customers.
  • Assist customers with product choices and decision-making in Ag Products.
  • Coordinate with dealers on seed booking and delivery scheduling.
  • Supply the Seed Sales team with up-to-date product information during sales meetings.
  • Help sales staff with order entry, reports, and cover crop quotes.
  • Work with management on production decisions regarding seed varieties.
  • Organize dealer outreach and promotional efforts in collaboration with marketing.
  • Represent the company at expos, providing technical information.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics with third-party carriers and in-house freight.
