Overview

GCM Consultants inc. is seeking a Junior Instrumentation and Control Engineer or CPI to join their team. This role is well-suited for those looking to work in an innovative engineering firm that values creativity and collaboration across various projects and industries.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce specifications for instruments
  • Participate in P&ID reviews
  • Assist in writing instrumentation and control specifications
  • Design technical drawings
  • Create lists of instruments, I/O, cables, etc.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys
  • Contribute to adherence to procedures and best practices

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Automated Production Engineering or equivalent
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in the field
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
