Overview

MA-TH inc. is seeking a Building Structural Engineer to join their team in Quebec. The role involves managing multidisciplinary projects in building structures, preparing plans and specifications, writing technical reports, and supervising construction work, while maintaining client relations throughout the projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage multidisciplinary structural projects primarily in the building sector
  • Design and prepare plans and specifications
  • Write technical reports for structural projects
  • Perform construction cost estimates
  • Supervise construction work
  • Oversee the work of technicians and draftsmen
  • Establish and maintain client contacts throughout the project
  • Participate in the preparation of service proposals
  • Perform other related tasks necessary for project completion

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structures or equivalent
  • 10 years of relevant experience in structural design
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Fluency in French (oral and written); English proficiency is an asset
