Overview

Ciment Québec inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Saint-Basile, Quebec. This permanent, full-time position involves working with cutting-edge manufacturing technologies in a company with over 70 years of history, aiming to produce superior eco-efficient cements.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and monitor new electrical installations for low and medium voltage systems (4.16KV, 2.4KV, 600V)
  • Oversee the design and implementation of instrumentation and control systems
  • Participate in risk studies and implement lockout procedures and other safety measures
  • Select and collaborate with contractors for specific electrical design and construction work
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget for capital expenditures and network maintenance

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
  • Relevant experience in industrial and high-power electricity
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Proficient in Easy Power, AutoCAD, and Eplan
