Entreprises G.N.P. Inc. is looking for a civil engineer to join their team in Victoriaville, Quebec. The role involves managing municipal and industrial infrastructure projects from contract award to final payment while collaborating closely with project superintendents and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead projects from contract award to final payment
  • Organize work sites and define resource needs
  • Monitor construction costs and produce necessary reports
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure timelines are met
  • Ensure compliance with established quality standards
  • Serve as a liaison with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Manage project administrative tasks such as reports and change notices
  • Approve additional work and adjust project budgets

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
  • 5 years of experience in sewer, watermain, and excavation work
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in ProjEst, AutoCAD, TPL Estimation, and Office Suite
  • Good understanding of site realities
  • Ability to manage pressure and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Calm, structured, and passionate attitude
