Overview

The Information Technology Specialist position at Integrative Staffing Group focuses on managing technical projects within the Cardiology IT functional area. This role involves overseeing technical designs, implementing systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing training to clinical end users in a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage systems development, enhancement, and maintenance projects
  • Monitor system performance and response times
  • Provide reports to management and users
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues hands-on
  • Lead technical implementation efforts involving multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct applications testing and compile test scripts
  • Provide technical assistance and programming support
  • Create and maintain project plans and documentation
  • Participate in user committees to identify project requirements
  • Train end users on equipment and software

Required skills

  • Degree or major in Computer Science
  • Communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Experience with Cardiology IT applications (e.g., Syngo Dynamics, MUSE)
  • Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP environment)
  • Tier 3 Applications Support experience
  • Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX) and Databases (Oracle, SQL)
  • Proficiency in Programming Languages (C++, Java, HTML, Python)
  • Knowledge of Health and Imaging protocols (HL7, DICOM, EPIC)
