Overview

SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an ITS Manager that will be responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and effective HR application services, including Oracle Fusion HCM and systems integrated to it, to support enterprise HR and payroll operations. Provides leadership for the application support team, partners with HR and business stakeholders, and ensures application services meet availability, performance, and service-level expectations. RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Functions: Identify operational requirements for reliable, scalable, and secure HR and Finance application services and establish appropriate measures to meet business commitments. Identify resource requirements (people, vendors, technology, and processes) to support current and future HR and Finance application needs aligned with business strategy.Provide application operations perspective and collaboration in ITS and business strategic planning, particularly related to HR technology roadmaps.Operational Functions: Oversee day-to-day HR and Finance application support and enhancement operations, including incident management, service requests, problem management, and vendor coordination.Create and maintain a business-aligned, service-oriented culture focused on reliable application services and customer satisfaction.Monitor budgetary performance and take action to address changes in plans or priorities Create business cases for projects originating out of the work group, and identify budget impacts of proposed projects Ensure that standard operating procedures are aligned with needs of business and are documented, communicated, and kept current Implement sound financial management, including asset management, financial metrics, and operational metrics as tools for continuous improvement Evaluate vendor proposals and manage related outsourcing contracts and service levels, as appropriate Leadership/Supervisory Functions: Develop strategies, goals and plans for work group and ensure alignment with department, customer and company goals Encourage two-way internal communications throughout all levels of the work group Develop a staff that takes ownership for resolving problems and embraces root cause analysis, quick problem resolution, and customer service Mentor, train and develop diverse team members Instill and foster cooperation and mutual trust with team members, other ITS staff and business unit customers Determine staffing requirements; interview and hires personnel as appropriate Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree required (Information Technology, Business or Engineering degree preferred) Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting enterprise business applications.At least three (3) years in an IT or application leadership role managing teams or vendors.Preferred: Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and integrated systems.Strong business insight and strategic planning skills Results orientated and the ability to lead teams Working knowledge of ERP and enterprise application integration patterns across HR, Finance, and Supply Chain domains sufficient to lead support teams and partner effectively with business stakeholders.Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM or similar SaaS platforms (preferred).Experience operating in an Agile or product aligned application support model, balancing day to day operational support with planned enhancements using backlog management, sprint ceremonies, and continuous improvement practices.Demonstrated organizational and planning skills are also required Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback Ability to travel up to 15% A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)Medical and prescription drug plans that includes
