This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient safety, employee well-being, and quality care in a rural Critical Access Hospital.Position HighlightsLead infection prevention and workplace safety initiativesCoordinate the hospital's Emergency Preparedness ProgramMonitor compliance with CMS, CDC, OSHA, and accreditation standardsConduct safety rounds, infection surveillance, and staff educationCollaborate with leadership and clinical departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvementPrepare for regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Public Health, Safety, or a related fieldMinimum of two years of experience in healthcare safety, infection prevention, quality, or risk management preferredCritical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience preferredCIC, CHSP, CEPS, or similar certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare safety, infection prevention, quality, or risk management preferred.
