Job Description:CHS Elizabethtown - Elizabethtown, PAFull-TimeThe Assistant Director- Infant/Toddler serves as the educational leader for the Infant & Toddler program, overseeing the implementation of curriculum and ensuring high-quality, safe, and nurturing classroom environments for Infants and Toddlers. This role provides direct leadership, coaching, and support to all teaching staff within the Infant & Toddler program, including Curriculum & Instruction Coaches, Lead Teachers, Associate Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Center Float staff as assigned and the Administrative Assistant. The salary range for this position is $79,500 to $92,505 per year, based on expertise. Working in close partnership with the Center Director and the Assistant Director - Preschool, this individual helps uphold the Center's mission, policies, and culture while promoting consistency and excellence across programs. The Assistant Director - Infant & Toddler leads compliance efforts related to DHS and NAEYC standards, ensuring that all classrooms and practices meet regulatory and accreditation requirements. This role supports the day-to-day operations and management of the Center and assumes full operational oversight in the absence of both the Center Director and the Assistant Director-Preschool. As a role model for staff and children, this individual will foster a collaborative, responsive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment aligned with CHS standards. Responsibilities: In collaboration with the Assistant Director-Preschool, assists the Center Director in ensuring all Center staff deliver high quality, child-Centered education to children Supporting the Infant & Toddler teaching team in the effective application of curriculum and classroom safety procedures Ensuring classrooms and additional learning environments are properly equipped and maintained Developing and maintaining teaching staff schedules. In collaboration with the Assistant Director-Preschool assign floaters to daily work to maintain best classroom outcomes In collaboration with other departments, managing future classroom projections and coordinatingenrollment opportunities with the Family Success team Managing the execution and delivery of child developmental assessments Supporting teachers and family engagement staff in providing timely, relevant, and engagingcommunication to families Serve as the compliance lead for the Infant/Toddler staff and classrooms Ensuring proper onboarding and ongoing training and development of teaching staff Implementing policies and procedures to safeguard health and safety of families and staff incompliance with the State requirements (DHS/OCDEL) and NAEYC standards Providing direct reports with timely and constructive feedback through ongoing performanceevaluations Manage, in partnership with AD- Preschool, all interns and seasonal staff. Assign work in theInfant/Toddler classrooms in alignment with program goals and in support of the full Center staffingexpectations In collaboration with other departments, optimizing daily operations and workflow management, and looking to resolve inefficiencies alongside the Center Director Building and maintaining positive relationships with all staff and encouraging Center growth andperformance Cultivating collaborative working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including parents, staff, and community partners Reporting to and working closely with the Center Director to achieve the mission and values of CHS Acting as a liaison to the CHS Central Office on any operational and strategic issues as necessary Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or Special Education required 5 years of experience in a similar role Center Director credentials is a plus Best practice knowledge for development of Infant/Toddler programming Direct experience in early childhood center(s) Ability to proactively identify pro
