Overview

Interprint Inc. is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Technician to operate and maintain industrial wastewater processes at their facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role involves ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and overseeing the treatment of wastewater, while collaborating with a team of operators and engineers.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain industrial wastewater processes and monitor equipment
  • Conduct inspections and perform testing to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair problems within the treatment system
  • Perform routine maintenance and manage chemical inventory for wastewater treatment
  • Collect and analyze wastewater samples during the treatment process
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize system performance
  • Maintain and operate reverse osmosis system and facility chiller water systems
  • Obtain and maintain required wastewater treatment operator license

Required skills

  • Industrial Grade 2 Wastewater License, with progression to Grade 3 within 6 months
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in operating and maintaining wastewater systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
