Job Description

Overview

The Gund Company is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician III (Maintenance Operator III) for its Noblesville, Indiana location. This full-time role involves performing installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance on various manufacturing machinery and facility systems, ensuring their continuous and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment including stamping presses and hydraulic systems
  • Communicate and coordinate with external contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Provide accurate documentation of maintenance work in tracking software
  • Communicate equipment status and corrective actions to the production team
  • Analyze repair solutions and drive actions for downtime reduction
  • Maintain orderly equipment and spare parts inventory
  • Participate in safety culture and continuous improvement activities
  • Work additional hours as needed

Required skills

  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Electrical maintenance and diagnosis of control circuits, drives, PLCs
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Welding skills, including MIG and TIG
  • Documentation skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preferred experience with facility infrastructure repairs
