Job Description

Overview

The Gund Company is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician III to perform installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility equipment. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical systems to ensure the continuous operation of all equipment within the facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various manufacturing machinery including mills, routers, and pumps.
  • Communicate and coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Document work performed in maintenance tracking software and communicate status to the production team.
  • Analyze equipment repairs and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain an orderly spare parts inventory and attend outside training for skill enhancement.
  • Contribute to safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required skills

  • Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Ability to diagnose control circuits, drives, and PLCs.
  • Experience in MIG and TIG welding.
  • Experience in repairing facility infrastructure including plumbing and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with HAAS and Amada equipment.
