Job Description

Overview

Jobot is looking for 1st and 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join an established manufacturing plant in Wetumpka, Alabama. This role focuses on maintaining and ensuring the efficiency of the facility's equipment and systems, contributing directly to the success of operations in a family-oriented and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility structures, production machinery, and utility systems.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as outlined in the company's maintenance schedule.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair new and existing production equipment.
  • Maintain inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Maintain the readiness of the company vehicle fleet and material handling equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.

Required skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and robotic systems.
  • Experience working with industrial electrical systems, particularly 480V 3-phase systems.
  • Welding experience, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing powered lift equipment.
  • Experience with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards is an advantage.
