Overview

DRC Industries, Inc is opening a new facility in Columbus, Mississippi, and is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant machinery and systems. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operation and contributes to the launch of a major facility supporting DRC's growth in the Southeast.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and modify industrial machinery and systems
  • Troubleshoot issues using blueprints, manuals, and work orders
  • Perform fabrication work and welding as needed
  • Work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Follow all plant safety rules and complete required safety training
  • Report issues promptly and maintain a clean work area
  • Organize tools and parts effectively to support workflow
  • Complete assigned tasks independently while meeting quality and timing expectations

Required skills

  • High School Diploma
  • Three years of mechanical maintenance experience in a continuous-process or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting methods
  • Proven ability to work safely with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
