Overview

Cargill seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Stansbury Park, Utah, to support the maintenance of essential systems in its Food Enterprise. The role focuses on preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance of equipment, ensuring operational efficiency within the facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility
  • Document all completed work and conditions found using maintenance software
  • Install, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair various components and systems, including packaging equipment and hydraulic systems
  • Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools and pneumatic tools
  • Comprehend mechanical/electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Operate a forklift
  • Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Basic math skills
  • Willingness to work overtime and different shifts
  • Minimum of one year of experience in maintenance trades in an industrial environment
  • Completion of the Industrial Maintenance Technician Course or ability to complete it within 18 months
  • Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Certification as Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician (CMRT) preferred
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining various equipment
