Overview

Marvin Composites is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead their Maintenance Department in Fargo, ND. This role focuses on overseeing maintenance operations, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring safety and product quality standards are met. The Maintenance Supervisor will coach the team, manage resources, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance operations across all shifts
  • Monitor departmental performance and implement improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Supervise and mentor the maintenance team
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate external vendors and contractors
  • Lead departmental initiatives including 5S and safety programs

Required skills

  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proficient in EAM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors
  • Leadership and team development skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
