Job Description

Overview

Corteva Agriscience is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for their Woodhull, Illinois location. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and HVAC equipment, performing repairs, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC.
  • Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections of equipment.
  • Assist program leaders with the electrical safety program for compliance.
  • Adhere to safety procedures including environmental regulations and OSHA.
  • Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs.
  • Maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to climb and work in elevated areas
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
  • Background in industrial maintenance of production equipment
