Job Description

Overview

The Industrial General Manager at JLL is responsible for managing a portfolio of industrial properties while ensuring financial results, operational objectives, and tenant satisfaction. This role involves direct collaboration with clients to meet their investment goals and requires effective management of the property team and communication with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual operating budgets and capital plans
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership
  • Conduct on-site property visits and inspections
  • Ensure timely and accurate tenant billings and follow-up on Accounts Receivable
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
  • Implement a tenant satisfaction program and meet regularly with tenants
  • Oversee competitive bidding processes for third-party contracted services
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and support team members' growth

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial real estate
  • Proven track record in managing operating budgets and achieving financial targets
  • Expertise in client relationship management and business development
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting and analysis
  • Proficiency in real estate management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid real estate license or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
