Job Description

Overview

Golden Aluminum is seeking an Industrial Electrician to perform day-to-day and long-term maintenance of complex foundry and mill equipment in Fort Lupton, Colorado. This role involves troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems within the industrial manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial production machinery
  • Install and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment
  • Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes
  • Interpret safety and work instructions to understand required specifications
  • Inspect machinery to maintain specified parameters
  • Operate mobile equipment for maintenance duties
  • Assist with the creation of maintenance schedules and work logs

Required skills

  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Industrial maintenance
  • Blueprint reading
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with programmable and numerical controls
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with Fluke multimeters and other testing equipment
  • Knowledge of AC and DC drives
