Job Description

Overview

WestRock is seeking an Industrial Electrician at their corrugated packaging plant in West Boylston, Massachusetts. This role focuses on electrical and automation controls troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates to OEM standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • Provide electrical and automation controls troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Review plant metrics/KPIs and equipment data to identify areas for improvement
  • Perform emergency breakdown maintenance as necessary
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Provide leadership and training to other technicians

Required skills

  • Strong understanding of PLC, VFD and HMI/OIT software
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems and related fields
  • Knowledge of precision maintenance
  • Strong CMMS knowledge
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office and JDE or similar
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing environments
